He was graduated specialty computation mathematics in department of Mathematics under Sofia University. 

He has been working in the mainframe environment since the 1970 beginning in Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

He has over of 24 years of experience with Operating System, over of 27 years with Assembler language on IBM mainframe machines and last years with IBM PC. I have use and other languages as Fortran, PL/I, C and C++.

His experience on MF is in:

• Installing, supporting and developing operations systems (DOS, OS/MVT, OS/VS2 SVS, OS/VS2 MVS/SP, VM/SP) and system components (RACF, DFHSM, ISPF/PDF, SDSF, CICS, NCP, etc.)

• Creating new utilities with system functions, installing and supporting application systems and compilers for use of all members of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

• Projects:

• The first project was re-assembly of the compiler Assembler F for DOS 26 R.

• Control of permissions to modify/delete the programs in DOS 26 R.

• Main and control part of the data base system BASES in DOS 26 R, later in OS/VS2 SVS.

• Accounting system (it based on a system for OS/VS1) for OS/VS2 MVS/SP.

• Updating and installing an undelivered system ISIS (received from UNESCO) for CICS environment in MVS.

His experience on IBM PC is in:

• C language on various platform.

• Using application tools as MS Word and Adobe Page Maker, etc.

• The last years (since 1999) my experience has been in Borland C++ Builder and InterBase.

Now, He is in Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Laboratory of Telematics.

-          Developer – Prepare a tool to help the process of converting the MF programs about the problem 1999-2000. Instruments: Borland C++ Builder 4.0, MS Access, : Tachyon Cross Assembler.

-          Developer in Travel Data Base team – The tool for maintenance database (Inter Base) about Travel Reservation System.
