Laboratory of Telematics is the successor of Computer Centre-BAS, 
    the first founded in Bulgaria

•     It is specialized in the area of education and application of information technologies, based on Microsoft solutions.                                                                                                                                                

•     It is responsible for the computer education of the PhD students of BAS
  

•     it creates database systems with different applications for the scientific libraries of BAS. Creates and supports Web-sites for institutes of BAS, specialized  schools etc…
  

•     it develops and supports the network infrastructure in a part of campus 4 km. of BAS, for the specialized schools for children with disabilities in the country.                           

•     it develops distributed interactive environments for distance learning, courseware and self assessment modules.
